Who we are

TenancyArmour is a tool that helps UK landlords meet their statutory duty to provide the Renters' Rights Act 2026 Information Sheet to tenants. It is operated by an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

What we collect

When you use the delivery tool we process the following personal data, supplied by you:

• Your name and email address (the landlord submitting the form).
• The property address you enter.
• Each named tenant's name and email address.
• Server-side, your originating IP address for the purpose of rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We do not use cookies on this site at the time of writing. We do not run analytics tracking that profiles individuals. Resend, our transactional email provider, processes the message bodies and attachments to deliver them.

Why we process it (lawful basis)

Under the UK GDPR our lawful basis for processing the data above is Article 6(1)(b), performance of a contract with you (delivering the service you requested), and Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests (preventing abuse of the form).

You ask us to forward the Information Sheet bundle to your tenants. Tenants receive your contact details and the property address as part of that delivery; this is the same information you would have given them directly.

Where it is stored

The web app runs on Vercel. Email is sent through Resend. Both providers process data in compliance with the UK GDPR through their standard contractual terms. We do not currently operate our own database; the personal data you submit is held only for as long as the email send takes, and is then retained only inside Resend's transactional logs (Resend retains delivery and bounce events for 30 days).

How long we keep it

The personal data you supply is processed in real time to send the emails and is not separately stored by TenancyArmour. The receipt email we send to you contains the names, email addresses and Resend message IDs; it lives in your inbox under your control. Resend retains delivery and bounce events for 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your personal data. Contact founder@tenancyarmour.co.uk with any request and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If we add features that change how data is processed (for example a paid tier with a stored database), this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
